Holiday Decorating

Christmas time is here!! Tree number one was up and ready in the middle of November. It is found in the entry way of our home and is fun to see every time that we open the door!

Tree number two is in our family room and Kynzee LOVED decorating this tree. She was very proud of herself and was extremely helpful! :) This one went up for family night this past Monday. Notice Randy's awesome paint job on the walls behind this tree!

Kynzee, Brayden, and Baby Abbey

Last Saturday, we went out to Randy's sister Cheronne's house. Kynzee loves to play with her cousin Brayden. This is his new kitten- "Fluffy". I must say that it is the most patient cat that I have ever seen. Can you imagine those two constantly running around saying, "Here Fluffy Fluffy, here Fluffy Fluffy..."! It is pretty darn cute!

Brayden got to come over to our house on Saturday night and have a sleepover because Cheronne was scheduled to have her baby the next morning. This was Kynzee's first experience with a "sleepover party" and the party ended up being mostly in our bed. Randy and I on the ends and the two kiddos in the middle. Luckily, we have a very large bed! But it was a lot of fun and the pic above is of Zee and Brayden having a "picnic". They are pretty funny together- quite the imaginations!

Randy and Kynzee are holding Baby Abbey. She is SOOOO adorable. We love her so much and are so glad that she is finally here!! Kynzee loves having a boy cousin AND a girl cousin now. :)

On the way home from visiting Jeremy, Cheronne, and Baby Abbey, Kynzee and Brayden fell asleep (and boy, did they ever need a nap) on Uncle Danny's hands. What a good and patient uncle he is to those wild kids!

Here are a couple of pics from the last time that we were in Preston. We are excited to have Grandma Tina (aka: Tom) and Grandpa Dave come to visit this weekend!

Summer Splashin'

Luckily for Kynzee, and us, she is loving the water soooo much more this summer. Below is a great action shot of her jumping in. I didn't think that she would be so adventurous... so the next time that we got the pool out, we moved it over to the grass for softer landing purposes! :)

Fourth of July Weekend

Our weekend started off on Saturday with the construction of our fence. Randy, his dad, and his brothers worked all morning to get the posts up- I was in charge of food! :) We are so excited to be able to let Kynzee run around out in the backyard!

Kynzee and cousin Brayden sporting their Independence Day T-shirts. :)

Saturday, we celebrated Beddes Birthday week at Tucano's. YUM!! We have four birthdays in one week + Kynzee's at the end of the month!

Cute Zee posing for a pic on the 4th of July. She loved the fireworks- she said they go "whoosh-kaboom"! Love that girl-

Well everyone... I am attempting to enter back into the blogging world. With school out for the summer, I am hoping that I will have a little more time on my hands to be able to sit down and update this more often than my "once-a-year" posts that have seemed to happen in the past.

As you can see in the pics, Kynzee is getting so big! She is all grown up at the ripe old age of two. Yes, she is still two... but she will be turning three on July 27th and we just love her more and more each day. We just chopped off her hair, and now she seems even more grown up!!
So far this summer, Zee and I have had lots of fun with outings and play dates. I am slightly limited to my adventures because of the boot that has been on my foot since May... but we still manage to have a fabulous time together! I love being home with her!

This summer, Kynzee and I have been blessed to be able to stay in Preston a couple of times already and spend time with the family there. Randy has been really busy with work and school and I have already had my fair share of health problems, so we decided to let Kynzee have some good old quality "Grandma Tina" time. They play all sorts of things: Fire Boys, Knights and Princesses, and Hungry, Hungry Hippos. They also spend countless hours at the piano- I love watching them together!

Well, it is late, so that is all for now... but my summer resolution is to keep up on this thing... so stay tuned!
