A Good Try

So this is a typical attempt of trying to take a picture of Randy and me. Do you think he can act normal?? Seriously... However, I did enjoy our matching red t-shirts! Lovely!

The Princess Chest

Grandma NovaLea gave Kynzee dress up clothes for Christmas. Yesterday, we opened them up and I showed Zee what to do with them. She was instantly "in love"! She insisted on wearing the pink Sleeping Beauty costume the rest of the day!

The earrings are my favorite part. I didn't think that Zee would like them... but she insists on wearing them!!

She is such a GIRL!!

Bracken's in Town

Bracken has decided to go to LDS Business College. The only problem is that he lives in Logan. So, he is now Zee's roommate Tuesday-Thursday so that he doesn't have to drive from Logan every day. Zee is really starting to take a liking to him... especially since he shares Root Beer with her!

This is how it all started...

Then, he made the fatal mistake of letting her drink some...

Pretty soon, it was all over!! And of course, Kynzee won again! The Root Beer was all hers to enjoy! (She seems to have a way of winning people over like that)!

This pic just makes me smile!

Kynzee's Krazies

Kynzee LOVES to walk on the ceiling! It is one of her favorite past-times. She is lucky that she has a dad that is tall enough to help her complete this task. She is a wild woman!

...and she thinks that she is completely hilarious... and, well... she actually is just that!

Zee loves cereal and she is quite independent... but one day, she decided that she would rather create a work of art with her Honeycombs instead of eating them!

Her little toes played a major part in her Honeycomb creation!

And we wonder "why" we suddenly find her taking a snooze? This girl is a busy one!!

The Kitchen

Randy surprised Zee (and me) with this adorable Red Kitchen. Zee LOVES it and can't get enough of it! Ol' Randall is such a good daddy!

Zee also received some cleaning items so help me out when I am cleaning! :) She is already doing a great job!

Randy does a really good job at teaching Kynzee how to do new things! He was so excited to give her the kitchen. And I must admit, watching him with her was the best thing about my Christmas!

Zee just checking out the commodities of her new toy!

I am not sure if we will be able to top this gift for awhile!! Zee loves her daddy and it is pretty obvious that he likes her too!!

Christmas Morn at the Beddes House

For some of us... Christmas morning came a little too EARLY!!! But that didn't last long once the excitement set in. We spent part of Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning/Day with the Beddes Clan. We headed over there early after scraping away a TON of SNOW off of the truck!! It was definitely a WHITE Christmas.

We are so grateful for our family and for the times that we get to share with them. One of my favorite parts of Christmas is spending time with the fam... so this Christmas was a great one!!

Brayden buddy was in great form as he performed, what appeared to be, the "Sprinkler" dance. He is so much fun!!

Kynzee loves her Uncle Brandon, especially since he has been around more because of Snow's Christmas break! She has definitely grown accustomed to hanging out with the boys!

Kynzee bug was continuing to have a difficult time once we got over to the Beddes home. 7:00 is not her choice of time to wake up.... she is more of a 10:00 girl!!
We had a great day with everyone!! Randy made delicious French Toast and Crepes for breakfast. Everyone pitched in for lunch and I made the famous "Texas Chocolate Cake" and my first batch ever of Hot Fudge.
We love spending time with the Fam!!

Christmas Morning and Paraphernelia

Christmas morning was spent in our own little place and consisted of Randy and me. Zee was WAY TOO TIRED and we were not about to wake her at 5:40 am!! Why would two adults get up that early? Well, we wanted to make it over to the Beddes household by 7:00 to open presents with them! :) So, we got up early and opened presents from each other. Randy surprised me with an AWESOME camera. It is a Nikon D60 and he got all of the little extras, bells and whistles if you will- to go with it!! I was SOOOO surprised!!! Above, Randy is displaying a lovely quilt that I made for him (with the help of my mom and lovely grandmama). We had a wonderful Christmas morning together.

Zeebug put her little glove on our tree and I thought it was the most adorable thing ever. I have old-fashioned mittens and stockings on my tree- so I guess that Zee thought that her glove would be a welcomed addition! :)

Our cute tree... don't worry... there were many more presents. This was taken on the 26th. :)

Randy and I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This is our best attempt at taking a picture of ourselves! We love you all!

Pre- Christmas Warm-up

It was our year to celebrate Christmas with the Beddes Clan. So the Fryar Gang came and visited us the Monday and Tuesday before Christmas to spend some time with us during the holidays. It was so much fun to see them and to have a little pre-Christmas warm-up. I was actually very grateful for this because it really got me into the Christmas spirit. Before I had felt like we were so busy in December, that it was difficult to focus on the whole Christmas thing.

Mom. Brinlee, Dallin, and Derek- My mom just finished up the Rising Star concert- Brin is a senior- Dallin and Derek are way into basketball right now and are in Jr. High... CRAZY!!!

Bracken and Dad- Brack has been working as an apprentice to an electrician and lives in Logan. He will be starting school again very soon. He came and stayed with us the week before too... we love visitors!!- Dad is just busy, busy as usual. Running the county, being in the Single's Ward bishopric, and taking care of one of the craziest families on earth keeps him going!

Kynzee and Brin have a special bond in that they are obsessed with soft things... Brinlee has a princess blanket and Kynzee always steals it from her when we visit them in Preston. So for Christmas, Brinlee gave Zee a Princess blanket of her own. SO CUTE!!!
Thanks guys for coming and visiting!!! We love you all!! Thanks for the wonderful Christmas!!
